Home charging is the most common and cheapest way for EV owners to charge their vehicles.Level 1 (120V AC): The slowest charging option, Level 1 uses a standard household wall outlet and an EV's included charging cable.Best for: Overnight charging for short daily commutes or for occasional top-ups.Level 2 (240V AC): This option requires the installation of a dedicated charging unit by a qualified electrician, similar to what is used for an electric dryer.Best for: Daily charging for most EV owners, as it can fully charge a battery overnight.
